Ingredients

The donuts

  • 2 pieces eggs
  • cup avocado oil
  • cup cane sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • cup gluten-free flour blend or all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda

The cinnamon-sugar topping

  • 3 tablespoons cane sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350℉.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, oil, sugar, and vanilla.
  3. Add the flour, baking powder, and baking soda; stir well.
  4. Fill a sprayed 6-count donut pan ¾ full with donut batter.
  5. Bake for 16-22 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the donut pan before removing.
  7. For the cinnamon sugar, stir together the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  8. Brush a thin layer of melted butter onto a cooled donut, then dip it into the cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat one side.
