The meat

  • 1 piece pork shoulder roast

The flavorings

  • ½ cup Hawaiian sea salt
  • a few strips bacon (sugar-free if doing Whole30)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the slow cooker.
  2. Place the pork shoulder roast in the slow cooker.
  3. Rub the Hawaiian sea salt over the pork.
  4. Add the strips of bacon on top of the pork.
  5. Cover and cook on low for several hours until the meat is tender.
  6. Shred the pork and serve.
