Ingredients

  • 1 large pork roast
  • ½ cup Whole30-compliant bacon
  • 1 tablespoon Hawaiian sea salt
  • 1 cup cabbage

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pork roast by seasoning it with Hawaiian sea salt.
  2. If using, cut the bacon into pieces and layer it in the bottom of the Instant Pot or slow cooker.
  3. Place the seasoned pork roast on top of the bacon.
  4. Cook in the Instant Pot on high pressure for a specified time or in the slow cooker for several hours until tender.
  5. In the last stages of cooking, add chopped cabbage to the pot.
  6. Once done, shred the pork and mix with the cabbage before serving.
