Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare an 8x8 or 9x9 square cake pan by buttering and flouring it.
- Sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt into a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter and maple syrup until smooth, then add eggs, vanilla, and coconut milk.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined, then fold in the chopped chocolate.
