Ingredients

The dough

  • 1 roll refrigerated pizza dough

The filling

  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into cubes
  • to taste desired pizza toppings (e.g., mini pepperoni)

The seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

For serving

  • to taste pizza sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to the temperature specified on the pizza dough package, usually 400°F.
  2. Unroll the pizza dough on a floured surface and roll it to about 12" by 8".
  3. Slice the dough into 24 squares using a pizza cutter.
  4. Place cheese and desired toppings on each square, ensuring not to overfill.
  5. Wrap the dough around the toppings and pinch to seal each ball.
  6. Place the sealed balls seam side down in a lightly sprayed pie pan.
  7. Brush the tops with olive oil or melted butter, then sprinkle with garlic, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with warmed marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
