Instructions
- Combine yeast and sugar in a bowl, then add warm milk and let sit until frothy.
- Mix in melted butter, egg, salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning, then gradually add bread flour until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size (about 60-90 minutes).
- Prepare a baking pan and mix mozzarella cheese and pepperoni for the filling.
- Punch down the dough, shape into balls, and stuff with the cheese and pepperoni mixture.
- Place the stuffed dough balls in the prepared pan and let rise again until puffy (about 30-45 minutes).
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and bake the rolls for 20 minutes.
- Add more cheese and pepperoni on top and return to the oven for an additional 12-15 minutes.
- Brush with garlic herb butter before serving.
