Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch glass baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix the melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt for the crust, then add flour and combine to form a thick dough. Press into the pan and bake for 20-22 minutes until lightly browned.
- Prepare the filling by sifting sugar and flour together, then whisk in eggs, lemon juice, and lemon zest until combined.
- Pour the filling over the warm crust and bake for 22-26 minutes until the center is set.
- Cool the bars at room temperature for about 2 hours, then refrigerate for 1-2 hours before serving. Dust with confectioners’ sugar before cutting into squares.
