Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C) and prepare a 9x13-inch glass baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt in a medium bowl, then add flour and combine to form a thick dough.
- Press the dough into the prepared pan and bake for 20-22 minutes until lightly browned.
- Poke holes in the warm crust and prepare the filling by whisking together sugar, flour, eggs, and lemon juice in a large bowl.
- Pour the filling over the warm crust and bake for 22-26 minutes until the center is set.
- Cool the bars at room temperature for about 2 hours, then refrigerate for 1-2 hours before serving.
- Dust with confectioners’ sugar, cut into squares, and serve.
