Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the eggs, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until combined, then add the pumpkin, oil, and orange juice.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients gently, being careful not to over-mix. Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60-65 minutes, covering with foil halfway through if needed.
- Check for doneness with a toothpick, then cool in the pan before slicing.
