Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until smooth, then add the egg and mix.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined, then fold in the chocolate chips.
- Cover the bowl and chill the dough for 30 minutes.
- Scoop out heaping tablespoons of dough and place them on the lined baking tray, pressing them into cookie shapes.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden around the edges.
- Let the cookies cool on the tray for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
