Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease your pan.
- 2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
- 3. In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then add the egg and extracts and mix well.
- 4. Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- 5. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan and poke holes to prevent bubbling.
- 6. Bake for 15-18 minutes until lightly golden, then cool for 20 minutes.
- 7. While cooling, whisk together the frosting ingredients until combined.
- 8. Spread the frosting over the cooled crust, top with fruit, and drizzle with honey if desired.
- 9. Slice and serve immediately for best results.
