Homemade Bread Bowls

Instructions
- Combine warm water and yeast in a bowl and let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add sugar, salt, olive oil, and 4 cups of flour to the yeast mixture and mix well.
- Knead the dough for 5-6 minutes until soft and slightly tacky, adding more flour if necessary.
- Form the dough into a ball and place it in a greased bowl, covering it to rise for about 90 minutes.
- Punch down the dough and cut it into 6 equal pieces, shaping each into a ball.
- Place the dough balls on baking sheets and let them rest for 20 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) and brush each dough ball with egg wash, scoring an X on top.
- Bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool the bread bowls and then cut out the tops and scoop out the insides to fill with soup.
