Ingredients

  • 1 large can (6 oz) tomato paste
  • 1 small can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • ½ cup date paste
  • ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup water
  • 3 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • ½ tsp Himalayan salt
  • ¼ tsp ground white pepper
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp ground Ceylon cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp ground clove
  • tsp freshly grated nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients until smooth.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  3. Lower the heat, cover partly, and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
  5. Transfer to airtight containers and refrigerate until chilled.
