Instructions
- Rinse the sweet potatoes and poke holes in them with a fork.
- Pour water into the Instant Pot and add a trivet or steamer basket.
- Place the sweet potatoes on top of the trivet.
- Set the Instant Pot to Manual, select High pressure, and set the cooking time based on the size of the sweet potatoes.
- Allow the pressure to naturally release for 10 minutes, then switch to Venting.
- Remove the potatoes, cut a slit in each, and top with butter, sea salt, and black pepper as desired.
