Instructions
- Mist a large sauté pan with cooking spray and heat over medium.
- Cook the ground beef and turkey until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
- Add the onion and mushrooms, cooking until softened.
- Stir in the garlic, crushed red pepper, salt, and black pepper, cooking for another minute.
- Add the pasta sauce, tomato sauce, beef broth, balsamic vinegar, and Italian seasoning, stirring to combine.
- Add the broken lasagna noodles, ensuring they are covered by the sauce.
- Cover and bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- In a bowl, mix the ricotta, Parmesan, and remaining salt and pepper.
- Once the pasta is cooked, flatten the top and dollop the ricotta mixture on top, then sprinkle with Mozzarella.
- Broil for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted and browned, or cover and cook on the stove until melted.
