Bacon Wrapped Spicy Meatballs

Ingredients

The meatballs

  • 5 soft pitted Medjool dates
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • ½ yellow onion diced
  • ½ teaspoon minced ginger
  • 3 pounds ground turkey
  • ¼ cup chopped parsley
  • 2 teaspoons Herbamare
  • 2 tablespoons coconut aminos
  • ¼ cup coconut flour

The wrapping

  • 2 packages bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Puree the dates, garlic, onion, and ginger in a food processor.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a large mixing bowl and add the turkey, parsley, Herbamare, coconut aminos, and coconut flour.
  4. Combine the ingredients well.
  5. Use a scoop to form meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Cut the bacon in half and wrap each meatball with a strip of bacon, securing with a toothpick.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes, then pour out excess liquids and turn the meatballs over.
  8. Bake for another 15 minutes, then remove crispy meatballs.
  9. Continue to bake and turn until all meatballs are crispy, about 5 more minutes.
