Cranberry Breakfast Sausage Patties

Instructions
- In a small saucepan, boil fresh cranberries in enough water to cover them for about 5 minutes until slightly soft, then drain.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground sausage, ground turkey, and all spices, mixing until well incorporated, then gently fold in the cranberries.
- Heat a medium skillet over medium heat and form patties from the mixture, about ¼ cup each.
- Cook the patties in the skillet for 7-10 minutes on each side until fully cooked through.
- Serve hot with maple syrup if desired.
