The pastry

frozen puff pastry, defrosted
The egg wash

Instructions
- Sprinkle flour on a clean surface and roll out the defrosted puff pastry into a 12”x12” square.
- Cut the pastry into 9 even squares.
- In a bowl, mix the Mozzarella, diced pepperoni, mushrooms, pizza sauce, and ¼ teaspoon of Italian seasoning.
- Spoon the filling into the center of each pastry square and spread it diagonally.
- Moisten the edges of the pastry square with water, fold it into a triangle, and press to seal.
- Place the triangles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Mix the egg and water for the egg wash and brush it over the tops of the triangles.
- Sprinkle the remaining Italian seasoning on top.
- Refrigerate the baking sheet for 10-15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and bake for 15-18 minutes until golden.
