Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp fat drippings
  • 2 cups chicken or beef broth
  • 2 Tbsp Argo® Corn Starch
  • ¼ cup cold water or milk
  • to taste salt
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook fat drippings and broth in a saucepan over medium heat until hot.
  2. 2. Whisk water and cornstarch in a small bowl until smooth, then add to the broth in the saucepan.
  3. 3. Stir constantly with a wire whisk, bring to a boil over medium heat, and boil for 1 minute.
  4. 4. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve warm.
