Ingredients

Chocolate Crust

  • 2 cups Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Turtle Pie Filling

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 16 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • ½ cup salted caramel sauce
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Toppings

  • 2 tablespoons salted caramel sauce
  • 2 tablespoons melted chocolate
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • ½ cup pecans, chopped

Salted Caramel Sauce

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small cubes
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Melted Chocolate

  • 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Oreo crust by crushing the cookies and mixing with melted butter, then press into a pie pan and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  2. Make the salted caramel sauce by melting sugar in a saucepan, then adding butter and cream, stirring until smooth, and adding salt.
  3. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  4. Whip heavy cream in a stand mixer until stiff peaks form and refrigerate.
  5. In a separate bowl, whip cream cheese until smooth, then mix in salted caramel, powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt until combined.
  6. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until smooth.
  7. Pour the filling into the prepared crust and refrigerate for 4-6 hours or overnight to set.
  8. Once set, decorate with whipped cream, drizzle with caramel and chocolate, and top with chopped pecans.
  9. Refrigerate for an additional hour before serving.
