Ingredients

The sprouts

  • 1 lb brussels sprouts, halved and trimmed

The dressing

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • ½ tablespoon tamari (or soy sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the brussels sprouts, olive oil, 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar, tamari, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the sprouts.
  3. Spread the brussels sprouts on a baking sheet with the cut side down and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
  4. Remove from the oven and drizzle with the remaining balsamic vinegar before serving.
