Strawberry Frosted Donuts

The strawberry frosting

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C) and prepare a donut pan with non-stick spray.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and baking powder.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together yogurt, milk, egg, vanilla, and melted butter.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Pipe the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 8 to 11 minutes until golden brown and springy to the touch.
- Allow the donuts to cool for about 5 minutes before removing them from the pan.
- For the frosting, puree strawberries with strawberry jam and gradually mix in confectioners’ sugar until the desired consistency is reached.
- Dip the cooled donuts into the frosting and add sprinkles if desired.
- Serve immediately or store covered at room temperature for up to 2 days.
