Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan, lining it with parchment paper if desired.
- 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until combined, then add the egg and vanilla and mix well.
- 3. Stir in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
- 4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth it out.
- 5. Bake for 18 to 24 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
