Ingredients

  • ¼ cup salted butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan, lining it with parchment paper if desired.
  2. 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until combined, then add the egg and vanilla and mix well.
  3. 3. Stir in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
  4. 4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth it out.
