Easy Roasted Delicata Squash

Ingredients

The squash

  • 3 pieces delicata squash

The seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon bacon fat
  • ½ teaspoon Meat & Potato Seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Scrub the squash and trim the ends, then cut each in half and remove the seeds.
  3. Slice the squash into rings about ¾ inch thick and place them in a mixing bowl.
  4. Melt the bacon fat and pour it over the squash, then sprinkle the seasoning and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Arrange the rings on a baking sheet and roast for about 10 minutes until browned.
  6. Flip the squash with a spatula and roast for another 10 minutes or until tender.
