Instructions
- Mix garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Dab chicken dry and sprinkle the seasoning mixture over both sides of each cutlet.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken and cook until golden brown on one side, about 4 to 6 minutes.
- Rotate chicken and cook the other side until nearly done, about 4 to 5 minutes.
- Top each cutlet with two slices of mozzarella, one avocado slice, and 1 to 2 tomato slices.
- Cover the pan and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes until cheese melts and chicken reaches 165°F.
- Sprinkle with pepper, drizzle with balsamic glaze, and garnish with fresh basil before serving.
