Cheese & Bacon Stuffed Keto Burger

Ingredients

The burgers

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup cooked bacon, diced
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

For serving (optional)

  • as needed Keto buns or iceberg lettuce
  • as needed cooked bacon
  • as needed sliced pickles
  • as needed sliced tomatoes
  • as needed Big Mac sauce

Instructions

  1. Separate the ground beef into 4 evenly sized balls.
  2. Chop the cooked bacon and shred the cheese.
  3. Flatten one beef ball into a thin patty using wax paper and a plate.
  4. Top the patty with half of the cheese and half of the bacon, keeping them away from the edges.
  5. Place another flattened beef patty on top and pinch the edges to seal.
  6. Repeat the process with the remaining beef to form another stuffed patty.
  7. Season both sides of each burger with salt and pepper.
  8. Heat a skillet over medium heat with some cooking oil.
  9. Cook the burgers for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until cooked to your liking.
  10. Serve on a Keto bun or lettuce wrap with your favorite low-carb toppings.
