Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium high heat, around 375-400°F.
- Form the ground bison into four ¼ lb. patties and season with salt and pepper.
- Clean the grill grates and apply cooking spray or rub with an olive oil soaked rag.
- Place the patties on the grill and cook the first side for 4 minutes with the grill closed.
- Flip the patties and grill the other side for 3 minutes with the grill closed.
- Add a slice of cheese on each patty, close the grill, and let the cheese melt for 1 minute.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a wedge of lettuce on a plate, adding the bison patty, topping with bacon, tomato, onion, pickles, and condiments.
