Instructions
- Cook bacon in a cold skillet over medium heat until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
- Toast the cut sides of the hamburger buns in the same skillet with butter until golden brown.
- Form ground beef into 4 balls, season with salt and pepper, and cook in the skillet, pressing down to flatten.
- Flip the patties, season again, and top with cheese, cooking until melted.
