Basil Walnut Pesto

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves, packed
  • 1 cup fresh parsley, packed
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup walnuts
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add basil, parsley, Parmesan cheese, walnuts, and garlic to a food processor or blender and pulse until coarsely chopped.
  2. With the motor running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil and process until smooth.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
