Ingredients

The base

  • 1 cup cane sugar
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ cup oat flour
  • 6 tablespoons finely ground flaxseed
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup dairy free chocolate chips

The wet ingredients

  • ½ cup water
  • 2-4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar, cocoa powder, oat flour, flaxseed, salt, and baking powder.
  3. Melt the chocolate chips with water and vanilla in a bowl, either in the microwave or using a double boiler.
  4. Combine the melted mixture with the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  5. Prepare a square baking pan, preferably lined with parchment paper.
  6. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 25-28 minutes, checking for doneness.
  8. Allow the brownies to cool completely before slicing.
