Ingredients

The Burger

  • 4 slices Texas Toast
  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
  • 4 slices Pepper Jack Cheese
  • 1 medium Onion
  • ½ cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 large Organic Egg
  • ¼ cup Milk
  • ½ cup Panko Breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup Italian Breadcrumbs
  • ½ tsp Himalayan Salt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tbsp Burger Spice

The Sauce

  • 1 tbsp Raw Honey
  • 1 tsp Yellow Mustard
  • 1 tbsp Barbeque sauce
  • ½ tsp Lemon juice
  • ¼ cup Mayo
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef with all seasonings and form thin patties.
  2. Prepare the onion by removing the outer casing and slicing it thinly.
  3. Set up a breading station with flour, breadcrumbs, and an egg-milk mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and coat the onion rings in flour, egg mixture, and breadcrumbs before frying.
  5. Cook Texas Toast according to package instructions.
  6. Cook beef patties for 3 minutes on each side, adding cheese on top once flipped.
  7. Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl until blended.
  8. Assemble the burger with sauce on Texas Toast, patties, onion rings, and barbecue sauce.
