Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line three baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream together the softened butter and sugars until well combined.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Roll 2-3 tablespoons of dough into balls and place them evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 8-10 minutes, removing them when they are just starting to turn brown.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
