Ingredients

The filling

  • 1 pound Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 large Onion
  • 2 tablespoons Cream Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Minced Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • ¼ cup Beef Broth
  • salt and pepper to taste

The peppers

  • 3 large Green Peppers
  • ½ cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Bake the halved and seeded peppers for 30 minutes.
  3. In a skillet, season the ground beef with salt and pepper and brown it.
  4. Add the chopped onion and cook until the meat is browned and liquid evaporates.
  5. Stir in garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth, then simmer for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and mix in cream cheese and ¼ cup of cheddar cheese.
  7. Fill each pepper with the meat mixture, using about ¼ cup per pepper.
  8. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and broil for 3-5 minutes until melted and golden.
