Instructions
- Press the tofu for at least 30 minutes and cut it into 1-inch pieces.
- In a bowl, combine the pressed tofu with soy sauce and toss to coat.
- Add the remaining marinade ingredients and toss to thoroughly combine.
- Let the tofu marinate for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 days.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated tofu to the pan and cook until crisp and browned on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Whisk cornstarch into the leftover marinade and add it to the pan after the tofu is cooked.
- Stir to combine and let it sit for 2 minutes before serving.
