Instructions
- Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- In a stand mixer, combine granulated sugar and butter, mixing until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until combined.
- Scoop dough into 2 tablespoon-sized mounds and chill for about an hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare baking sheets.
- Roll each dough ball in granulated sugar and place on baking sheets.
- Bake for 9-10 minutes for soft cookies or 12-13 minutes for crispy cookies.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
