Instructions
- Prepare the beets by removing any greens and large stems.
- Place a trivet or steamer basket in the Instant Pot and add one cup of water.
- Set the beets on top of the trivet, ensuring they do not exceed the max fill line.
- Set the cooking time: 12 minutes for small beets, 16 minutes for medium beets, and 20 minutes for large beets.
- After cooking, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes before using quick release.
- Remove the lid and transfer the beets to a plate.
- Cut off the tops of each beet and rinse under cold water to remove the skin.
