Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) or the grill to medium heat (350°F). Prepare a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and place a rack on top if using the oven.
- Cut diagonal slits in each hot dog about an inch apart.
- Wrap each hot dog with a slice of bacon and secure the ends with toothpicks.
- Sprinkle the wrapped hot dogs with garlic powder and chili powder.
- For the oven method, place the hot dogs on the rack and bake for 15-20 minutes until the bacon is crispy. For the grill method, grill for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the bacon is crispy.
