Instructions
- Fry the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp, then drain on paper towels, leaving drippings in the pan.
- Sauté the minced onion and garlic in the bacon drippings until tender and fragrant.
- Add the chili sauce, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, crumbled bacon, and apple juice to the pan and bring to a boil.
- Add the hot dogs to the sauce, reduce heat, and cook for 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens and the hot dogs are heated through.
- Serve immediately or transfer to a slow cooker set to low. Top with shredded cheese and chopped onions.
