Homemade Pickled Onions
Instructions
- Make the pickled onions.
- In a bowl, combine ground turkey, cilantro, chipotle peppers, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper, mixing well.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
- In a separate bowl, mash the avocados with lime juice and sea salt.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add grape seed oil.
- Cook the turkey patties for 5-6 minutes on each side until nicely seared.
- Assemble the burgers with a lettuce wedge, tomato slice, turkey patty, guacamole, and pickled onions.
- Serve and enjoy.
