Ingredients

Turkey Burgers

  • 3 tbsp Avocado oil
  • 1 tbsp Coconut aminos
  • 1 tsp Crushed chipotle chile pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp Cumin
  • ½ tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp Fresh cilantro
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • 1 lb Ground turkey

Chipotle Mayo

  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • ½ tsp Chipotle chile powder

Optional For Serving

  • to taste Your favorite buns
  • to taste Salsa
  • to taste Avocado (sliced thinly)
  • to taste Fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the avocado oil, coconut aminos, chipotle flakes, smoked paprika, cumin, oregano, cilantro, and sea salt in a large bowl.
  2. Add the ground turkey and mix gently until just combined, then form into 4 patties with a thumbprint in the center of each.
  3. Cook the patties using your preferred method: pan fry for 4-5 minutes per side, bake at 400°F for 16-18 minutes, or grill for 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 160°F, then let the burgers rest for 5 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, mix mayonnaise and chipotle powder to create the chipotle mayo.
  6. Serve the turkey burgers with the chipotle mayo, avocado, fresh cilantro, and salsa.
