Instructions
- Whisk together the avocado oil, coconut aminos, chipotle flakes, smoked paprika, cumin, oregano, cilantro, and sea salt in a large bowl.
- Add the ground turkey and mix gently until just combined, then form into 4 patties with a thumbprint in the center of each.
- Cook the patties using your preferred method: pan fry for 4-5 minutes per side, bake at 400°F for 16-18 minutes, or grill for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Ensure the internal temperature reaches 160°F, then let the burgers rest for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, mix mayonnaise and chipotle powder to create the chipotle mayo.
- Serve the turkey burgers with the chipotle mayo, avocado, fresh cilantro, and salsa.
