Instructions
- Combine ground turkey, garlic, chipotle chili powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper in a bowl and mix lightly.
- Fold in grated sweet potato and cilantro, then form the mixture into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for 2 minutes on one side.
- Flip the patties and cook for an additional minute, then add water and cover to steam for about 5 minutes.
- Top with cheddar cheese towards the end and let it melt.
- Serve the burgers on toasted buns with avocado, salsa, and sour cream as desired.
