Instructions
- If using, cook the chopped bacon in a large pan.
- Add coconut oil and chopped red cabbage to the pan.
- Sauté the cabbage over low heat for about 25 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Add apple juice or cider, cover, and continue cooking over low heat for about 20 minutes.
- Once the cabbage is tender, add sea salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, coconut sugar, and balsamic vinegar.
