Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a 9x9 baking dish with cooking spray and parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the mashed bananas, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and applesauce until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chunks into the oatmeal batter.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
