Honey Sesame Shrimp

Ingredients

The shrimp and sauce

  • 1 lb shrimp, shelled, deveined and tail-on
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • ½ tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

The vegetables

  • 4 ozs broccoli

For garnishing

  • to taste white sesame

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook the broccoli florets in boiling water for 1 minute, then drain and set aside.
  2. 2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add cooking oil and sesame oil.
  3. 3. Sauté the minced garlic until light brown.
  4. 4. Add the shrimp to the skillet and stir to combine.
  5. 5. Add honey, oyster sauce, and apple cider vinegar, and stir-fry until the shrimp is cooked through.
  6. 6. Add the cooked broccoli and stir to combine well.
  7. 7. Garnish with white sesame seeds and serve immediately.
