Ingredients

  • 8 pieces small bananas
  • 8 ounces dark chocolate
  • to taste toppings (sprinkles, coconut, salted nuts, pretzels, mini marshmallows, chopped fruit, sea salt, caramel, melted peanut butter, etc.)
  • as needed popsicle sticks

Instructions

  1. Skewer the bananas using a wooden kebab skewer, leaving enough sticking out to use as a handle.
  2. Place a large piece of parchment paper on a cookie sheet.
  3. Melt the dark chocolate in a large microwave-safe bowl, microwaving in 30 second increments and stirring in between.
  4. Dip the bananas into the melted chocolate, using a spoon to coat them evenly, and place them on the parchment paper.
  5. Immediately sprinkle the bananas with your choice of toppings.
  6. Freeze the bananas for at least 2 hours or until the chocolate is set.
