Instructions
- Prepare the sauce by blending cashews, water, tomato paste, mustard, vinegar, maple syrup, onion powder, and salt until smooth.
- Set the sauce aside while you prepare the burger crumble.
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet, breaking it up and seasoning with salt until no longer pink.
- Add the drained lentils and onion powder to the cooked beef, mixing well until heated through.
- Assemble the salad with a base of chopped romaine lettuce, topped with the beef and lentil mixture, tomatoes, pickles, and cheese if desired.
- Drizzle the sauce over the salad and toss to combine.
