Ingredients

The Salad

  • 1 pound Ground Beef Crumbles or substitute plant-based crumbles or tofu
  • 1 small White Onion, diced
  • 2 count Roma or Plum Tomatoes, diced
  • 4 count Dill Pickles, chopped
  • 1 head Iceberg Lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded or substitute dairy-free cheddar

The Dressing

  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt or substitute a plant-based yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons Relish
  • ½ cup Ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons Water, as needed to thin out the dressing

Instructions

  1. Prepare your meat of choice, sautéing ground beef with sea salt and pepper until browned, then set aside.
  2. Wash and chop all vegetables, keeping them separate.
  3. Mix all dressing ingredients in a small bowl until fully combined, adjusting seasonings and thinning with water if necessary.
  4. Assemble the jars by dividing the dressing evenly among four large mason jars, placing it at the bottom.
  5. Layer in the ground beef, followed by the other ingredients, saving the lettuce for last.
  6. Store jars in the fridge for up to one week. When ready to eat, dump contents into a bowl, mix, and enjoy.
