Grilled Dry Rub Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings

Ingredients

The wings

  • 2 pounds chicken wings

The dry rub

  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 4 teaspoons lemon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • teaspoons granulated onion
  • teaspoons granulated garlic
  • teaspoons sweet paprika
  • ½–1 teaspoon ancho chili powder (optional)

For serving

  • 1 lemon cut into wedges
  • 1 teaspoon Italian parsley (garnish)

Instructions

  1. Mix all dry rub ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
  2. Coat the chicken wings with the dry rub mixture.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (350º-400ºF).
  4. Place the wings on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, turning as needed.
  5. Move the wings to indirect heat and close the lid, cooking for another 6-8 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
