Ingredients

  • cups whole wheat flour
  • tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 2 large mashed bananas
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp coconut sugar
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a muffin tin with liners or grease it.
  2. Mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder in a bowl and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, Greek yogurt, honey, egg, vanilla, and almond milk.
  4. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until fully combined.
  5. Add the chocolate chips and stir gently.
  6. Spoon the mixture into the prepared muffin tin and bake for 22-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
