Cheesy Sausage Wonton Bites

Ingredients

The filling

  • 12 to 16 ounces pork or chicken sausage
  • ½ cup small diced green bell pepper
  • 1 cup shredded medium or sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 ½ cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing

The wrappers

  • 24 pieces wonton wrappers

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Press a wonton wrapper into each cup of a mini muffin tin and spray lightly with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Bake the wrappers for 6-7 minutes.
  4. Cook the sausage and green pepper in a skillet until the sausage is no longer pink, then drain the grease.
  5. Stir in the shredded cheese and dressing into the sausage mixture.
  6. Fill the wonton cups with the sausage mixture, pressing it down slightly.
  7. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the filling is sizzling.
  8. Serve warm or at room temperature.
